Tech Beats Auburn!

Please share...

Carol and I went to a Georgia Tech vs. Auburn game a few years back and we won a very exciting game! The students tore down the goal posts and carried them all over the campus. As we were stuck in traffic on 10th street, the goal posts passed us with thousands of students joyously screaming! I took this picture and enhanced it with Photoshop and LucisArt Pro to create a nice photo illustration.

Original Photo
PhotoShop Layer for LucisArt

This photo was really well balanced and needed only minor color correction in PhotoShop. Always create a layer in PhotoShop above the original to add the LucisArt Filter.  This allows non-destructive editing of the image. After LucisArt was applied 100%, the flattened shadows and features of the photo became very interesting. Take a look at the instrument case on the ground. LucisArt picked up the finest detail. This effect CANNOT be duplicated in PhotoShop alone!

This is an example of how LucisArt can improve the detail in an already great photograph. The flowers really look great with a little improvement in detail. I created a separate layer in Photoshop and then “painted out” any areas where too much detail showed using a Layer Mask.

The Stadium

Before

I took this rather ordinary looking photo with my Nikon D200 and 18-200mm lens looking across the stadium at a Georgia Tech vs. Auburn football game. It came to life with LucisArt! Every person in the photo tells a story. I created a second layer in Photoshop and used the LucisArt filter applied at 85% opacity.
