Atlanta Gets a New Trump Tower

2016TrumTowerinAtlanta
(Click image to enlarge) I did a weekly Photoshop challenge from the KelbyOne.com training team and was given an image of a tower to use. The challenge was to use it any way you want to make something interesting! I saw it and thought “no way!” but then remembered a photo I took of Atlanta at dusk from the parking deck at GPC where I used to work and decided to give it a try. I also decided to learn how to do the Perspective Warp and Puppet Warp tools in Photoshop CC to transform the tower into something that fit the skyline. I added some lights (the street lights were out when I took the picture) and tried to match the tones and mood, adding lights in the new hotel! BY THE WAY – You may have to click on the image to enlarge it to see the details…

Cropped, removal of water stain, removal of scratches and clean-up. I didn't even realize my Grandmother Mum-Mum was in the picture until I scanned and started cleaning it up!

This is a picture of my dad and his sister Lil. It was quite damaged so I enlarged it and cleaned it up a bit. (Photoshop CC 2015)

Photo Restoration

I love photo retouching and restoration! I use PhotoShop CC (2014) and an Epson 3880 professional archival printer and archival papers to restore and reproduce your family photos or update damaged pictures. I will print several copies for you to give to family members. Email a scan, digital photo or even an iPhone photo of the original for a quote to ggh830@mac.com.

Here’s the process:
1. Send me a photo or scan of the image for an initial evaluation. You can then email or post a higher resolution image via Facebook, Flickr, Dropbox or another photo sharing app. Let me know how many prints and what size you’d like. I will send you a quote.
2. I will email you back a restored photo for approval.
3. When satisfied with retouching, pay by PayPal or by check. (cost is as low as $29.95 for an 8×10, depending upon the condition of the original)
4. When prints arrive, pay for prints only if satisfied.
5. Enjoy new archival quality prints for a lifetime!

My mom would have turned 88 on January 2nd but God decided to send his angels to take her home on Thanksgiving morning a year ago. Mom, we love you and miss you! Her great granddaughter Lisa has this beautiful African Violet from Memo’s room in her kitchen and is carrying on the lifelong love for these beautiful God given flowers!MomWithAfricanVioletsTopazImpression

“So What Would My House Look Like Whitewashed?”

Please share...
I was asked by a client to show what different levels of whitewash might look on his house. A bit of research and I came up with this comparison board. The houses and views on the right are existing houses with different whitewash treatments. I used Photoshop CC (2014) to create a "paint layer in white" over the bricks and then varied the transparency of the layer to simulate whitewash in varying degrees of opacity.

Email me a photo of the room at ggh830@mac.com and I will give you a quote to “paint” it for you.
