A sunny morning and 12 large caterpillars greeted me on my deck!

I went out on the deck this morning to feed the birds (and an occasional chipmunk, squirrell, turtle and deer) their daily bread and saw 12 of these very large critters crawling quite happily around their new home. They seemed quite content and didn't mind a photo or two taken, so here is one. I guess this means we're going to have a nice butterfly season! It got me to thinking…does a butterfly recall being a caterpillar? Does it dwell on its difficult past or keep it’s eyes focused on the next flower it sees…A lesson can be learned from the caterpillar! “If any man is in Christ, he is a new creation! The old things have passed away, behold all things have become new!” 2 Cor. 5:17 – Taken with a Nikon D800, Nikon 60mm macro lens. — in Johns Creek, Georgia.
