Only do what ONLY YOU can do.
Carol read this and suggested I explain Andy’s statement. When Andy uses this expression, he is referring to concentrating on those things God has gifted each of us to do. He says we should develop the abilities God has given us, and not try to do those things others think we should do, or try to develop in areas where our talents don’t exist. Much of the corporate “career development” world concentrates on making us well rounded in all areas. The best strategy is to concentrate on where we are strong and become more expert in those areas. In the church, a person gifted as a teacher shouldn’t spend time becoming an administrator. Thus the expression, “Only do what ONLY YOU can do!” Hopefully that helps!
